Career Objective

 

I have a few main objectives for my career. Firstly, I would like a career I find rewarding – one in which my work makes a positive impact in the lives of people. I would like to contribute to innovation in the field of electrical engineering, and more specifically in the area of controls. I feel this will give a company I work for a competitive advantage while bettering the product or system for the customer. Secondly, I have a personal goal of learning and improving my abilities throughout my career. I think this will allow me to stay relevant and competitive in the long term. Along the way I would like to make connections with people professionally, and build a network of resources for myself in the workforce. Finally, if possible I would eventually like to leave a legacy of some kind, a way to have a lasting effect with my work. I believe I have a long and eventful career ahead of me, and I look forward to the coming challenges.
